The Dan Region Association of Towns for Sewage and Environmental Issues (Igudan) operates 70 kilometers of pipelines and a number of pumping stations, through which sewage from 7 original member municipalities and another 19 municipalities around the Dan Region is collected and conveyed for treatment at the Shafdan wastewater treatment plant. Altogether, Igudan serves a population of about 2 million people and treats approximately 370,000 cubic meters per day of municipal wastewater at the Shafdan Plant.
To monitor industrial wastewater quality that endangers the WWTP process stability and to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, Igudan manages vast and frequent field sampling and analysis operations and processes that cover approximately 1,500 industrial sites and businesses, each with multiple sampling sites. Managing such a large amount of information creates a need for a comprehensive lab and sampling management system.
To address these complex needs, IOSight provides Igudan with an end-to-end lab & sampling management solution that includes sampling program preparation & management, laboratory data management, and mobile field application.
